Programs:
The youth drop-in program acts as the nucleus that draws youth to the Centre voluntarily. Through their participation in drop-in activities, our youth become aware of options available to them for support, education and training. All programs, activities and services are funnelled through 5 main program areas. Each of these areas engage youth in various programs and activities geared to arm our young people with knowledge, experience, skills and support that will build their personal skills and increase their resiliency in order to have hope for the future. The following is a brief outline of each program area:

Services:
LOOKING OUT FOR YOUR HEALTH & WELL-BEING
CPDYC has developed a new partnership with the CPHC Family Health Team. Community and Primary Health Care - Mobile Unit provides FREE primary health care to those people who do not have access to a family physician or nurse practitioner.
Services provided range from: blood pressure checks; blood testing; immunizations; prenatal care; smoking cessation counceling; information of healthy life style i.e. physical activity, exercise and weight loss; and physical assessments, treatment and diagnosis of acute and cronic conditions.
A Nurse Practitioner and team in the Mobile Unit (health clinic) visit the Youth Centre on Mill Street once a month to see anyone who needs to discuss health issues with a professional.
